1813 John Jr. sells 75 acres back to John Sr.; John Sr. sells John Jr. 245 acres on Little’s Creek, bordering Munday, Brotherton, and Harwell. John Sr. aged 61 and John Jr. aged 37, so John Sr. semi-retiring and John Jr. taking over the farm.
1820 John Jr., aged 44, sells 245 acres to John Lockman, preparing to move west

Notes:
1. Peter Linebarger is named as Michael Hoot's brother-in-law in Michael's will. That means that Peter is either Uley's brother, Michael's sister's husband, or any kind of in-law as "brother-in-law" was a loosely applied term back then. I'll assume here that Uley was a Lineberger.
2. I think the key to breaking the far past is to find land records in Pennsylvania correlating with when Johannes arrived and when he left for North Carolina, if the records exist. Perhaps finding records of a Johannes Leinberger who left Germany at the right time would be beneficial.
3. It's odd, the fact that the authors of Five Republics didn't fit it John Linebarger specifically with any other Linebargers, as if they didn't find the connection, or they noticed the Linebarger/Lineberger marriage and avoided the subject.
4. There might be information on gravemarkers in North Carolina, if they're not under the big lake there.
5. These are just ideas of mine.
